Meet Our Team

Tracey, our Patient Manager and Inventory Coordinator, is a Charlottean and a graduate of CCHS and Queen’s University. She is an avid sports fan who loves UNC basketball and Panthers football. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with patients and truly getting to know them and their families.

Fun Facts:

• She enjoys baking sourdough bread and desserts.
• She has one dog: a Springer Spaniel named Piper.
• In her spare time, she enjoys being at the beach or on a boat.

Dana, our Patient Manager and Clinic Lead, has been a valuable member of the Valeriano Orthodontic team since 1997. She studied dental assisting at Central Piedmont Community College and specialized in orthodontics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dana enjoys building relationships with her patients and witnessing the incredible transformations in their beautiful smiles.

• She loves all animals.
• She has three fur babies of her own: Lilah, Riley, and Stewie.
• She enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying new restaurants.

Janie, our Practice Director, is a true jack of all trades around the office and is always ready to help others. Before discovering her passion for creating smiles, she worked with famous actor and comedian Carrot Top! Her favorite part of her job is watching patients’ confidence grow as their new and improved smile emerges.

• She enjoys hiking and kayaking.
• She loves visiting new breweries.
• She spends her free time with her husband and spoiling her grandchildren.

Mariel, our Patient Manager and Remote Care Coordinator, grew up on Hilton Head Island but traded the beaches for city life after graduating from Anderson University. She has a true passion for her job and loves making the moment patients finish treatment a day they will never forget.

Fun Facts:

• She has a Chihuahua mix named Tommy.
• She enjoys watching and performing in musicals in her spare time.
• She is 50% Polish, and her last name means “Frost.”

Sarah, our Treatment Coordinator and Marketing Manager, was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated from the University of South Carolina—Go Gamecocks! Her favorite part of her job is being involved in the process that creates new smiles and boosts confidence, helping others feel great both inside and out.

Fun Facts:

• She has a German Shepherd mix named Blitz.
• She enjoys cooking, playing volleyball, and traveling.
• Goes to the beach whenever she gets the chance.

Josseph, one of our Patient Managers, was born in California and moved to Charlotte when he was 5 years old. He graduated from South Mecklenburg High School and loves spending time with his family and friends. His favorite part of his role is bonding with patients and making their experience at the office enjoyable.

Fun Facts:

His favorite superhero is Spider-Man.
He has a German Shepherd named Kieran.
He is a proud member of the LGBTQ community.

Hailey, our Sterilization and Records Tech, has a talent for making patients feel comfortable in the office. She is currently in graduate school to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner! Hailey enjoys building personal connections with patients and witnessing their smile transformations through the before-and-after photos.

Fun Facts:

• She has studied abroad in China, Italy, and Australia.
• She loves dogs.
• Her favorite food is sushi.

Asheley, our front desk, is originally from Missouri and graduated from Auburn University with a major in fashion before moving to Charlotte. She loves being the first smiling face you see when you walk through our doors and making every patient feel instantly at home!

• She loves thrifting, baking, and reading.
• Is a member of the Cherokee nation.
• Has been to 15 countries.
